The attraction that Benoît Royer as for visual arts occurred very early in his life. Young child, he drew for hours.
In college, his arts orientation suits him very well: he declares his taste for the exploration of materials through visual creation.
Following a Bachelor of stage design at the University of Quebec at Montreal, he designed sets for theatre and artistic directors and produces props for Cirque du Soleil.
With its experience and recipient of numerous awards, he is determined to start his own company to create artistic works.
And so the workshop Éclisse was born, a creative place where wood is chosen as a subject of exploration.
